New Balance: James Frapwell (ex-Clarks) appointed head of marketing, global football

James Frapwell has been appointed head of marketing, global football at American sportswear company New Balance, he announced on LinkedIn on 28 May 2026. The British executive joins the manufacturer after 13 years with English footwear company Clarks.

Across European Top 5, New Balance is the kit supplier of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga), LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and Atalanta BC (Serie A Enilive), where it also holds the stadium naming rights through the New Balance Arena.

New Balance posted record revenue of $9.2bn (€7.8bn) for the 2025 financial year (ended 31 December 2025), up 19% compared with 2024 ($7.8bn, equivalent to €7.5bn as of 31 December 2024).
