FIFA: ExCo meeting on 20/07/2015, elective Congress between December 2015 and February 2016

"The extraordinary FIFA Executive Committee meeting to set the date for the extraordinary elective Congress will take place on 20/07/2015 in Zurich (SUI)," announced FIFA on 11/06/2015. Joseph Blatter was re-elected for a fifth term as the president of FIFA on 29/05/2015, but announced that it would "lay down his mandate", on 02/06/2015.

Joseph Blatter said, the day of his resignation, a meeting of the Executive Committee would be held to choose the date of the extraordinary congress which elects his successor as the head of FIFA. "During the meeting, the agenda for the elective Congress will be finalised and approved. The extraordinary elective Congress will take place in Zurich between December 2015 and February 2016, as announced by the FIFA president on 02/062015," added the world body.
