News Tank Football: elections, appointments & departures recorded in May 2026

• Dennis Schröder has been appointed managing director Europe at Puma, the German sportswear company announced on 21 May 2026.

• Giorgio Furlani, CEO of AC Milan (Serie A Enilive) since December 2022, has been dismissed from his position, the club’s owner, US investment fund RedBird Capital Partners, announced on 25 May 2026.

• Nicolas de Tavernost, outgoing CEO of LFP Media, has been appointed president of the board of Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's) as Guillaume Cerutti "steps down from his position," the club announced on 22 May 2026.

• Nicola Boscaro has been appointed chief revenue officer of Venezia FC (promoted to Serie A Enilive for the 2026-27 season), the club announced on 14 May 2026.

• Anne-Claire Mangel, managing director of SAS FC Metz Stadium, the club subsidiary dedicated to the operation of Stade Saint-Symphorien, and the club’s secretary general, has been promoted to the position of managing director of FC Metz (relegated to Ligue 2 BKT at the end of the 2025-26 season), the club announced on 19 May 2026.
