2025-26 Champions League final: average audience down in France (9.19 million, down 22% vs 2024-25)

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) - Arsenal FC (Premier League) (1-1 after extra time, 4-3 on penalties), the 2025-26 Champions League final, drew an average of 9.19 million viewers on the private free-TV channel M6 (6.25 million) and the pay-TV channels Canal+ (2.5 million) and Canal+ Foot (440,000) in France on Saturday 30 May 2026 (kick-off at 18:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

These figures represented audience shares of 36.1% for M6 and 14.7% for Canal+. The penalty shoot-out drew an average of 9.8 million viewers on M6 (audience share of 46.6%) and 3.1 million viewers (14.6%) on Canal+, according to Médiamétrie. Peaks of 10.4 million and 3.7 million respectively were recorded on M6 and Canal+ during the match.

In total, 17.8 million French people watched the match on the free-TV channel (an increase of 0.7 million in one year), according to the private group, which added that the final represented its "best audience in a year on M6 and the best audience for under 50 people on television in 2026."
