2026 World Cup / On Location: over 500,000 hospitality packages sold and record sales generated

The 2026 World Cup hospitality programme, "already the world’s largest-ever hospitality effort," has already generated sales of over 500,000 packages and "more hospitality revenue than any previous World Cup or global event," On Location, the official hospitality provider for the tournament, announced on 28 May 2026.

Whilst packages are still available for sale, the US agency highlights the commercial success of the 2026 World Cup hospitality programme compared to previous editions. Revenue generated from sales had already exceeded that of the 2022 World Cup (in Qatar) by June 2025, one year before the 2026 World Cup kicks off, whilst it had "more than doubled revenue obtained through any previous World Cup programme" by 31 March 2026. In terms of number of packages already sold, the 2026 tournament has surpassed the 2014 World Cup (in Brazil), which previously held the record for hospitality packages sold at a FIFA competition.
