LALIGA EA Sports: record 11.7 million cumulative attendance during the 2025-26 season

A total of 11,693,679 spectators attended the 380 matches of the 2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports season, setting a new attendance record for the Spanish top flight, LALIGA announced on 01 June 2026.

The figure represents a 4.2% increase compared with the 2024-25 season, which attracted 11.4 million spectators, itself already up on 2023-24 (11 million).

Among the other figures highlighted by LALIGA:
• a record stadium occupancy rate of 84.9%;
• an average attendance of 31,018 spectators per match, the highest level recorded since 2014-15.

"These figures are even more significant considering that several stadiums have been operating with reduced capacities due to renovation and modernisation works, including Spotify Camp Nou (FC Barcelona), Coliseum (Getafe CF) and ABANCA Balaídos (RC Celta). This record therefore highlights the investments made by LALIGA EA Sports clubs to transform and modernise their infrastructures, with the aim of improving the fan experience and adapting stadiums to evolving supporter expectations," the Spanish league said.
