NBA/playoffs: best audience since 2002 for the Spurs-Thunder conference finals in the USA (10.8 million)

The San Antonio Spurs - Oklahoma City Thunder series (4-3) in the 2025-26 NBA Western Conference finals drew an average of 10.8 million viewers on NBCUniversal channels in the United States, the best audience for a conference finals (Eastern and Western) since 2002, the American group announced on 02 June 2026.

Game 7, won by Victor Wembanyama's Spurs (111-103), drew an average of 15.9 million viewers with a peak of 22.2 million on NBC channels and platforms on Saturday 30 May, according to Nielsen. This is the best audience of the season for an NBA game and the most-watched conference finals game since 2016.

This game is also the "the most-viewed NBA game ever on social media" with more than 2 billion views, according to the National Basketball Association.
