Lega Serie A: partnership with Fastbreak AI to optimise match scheduling and competition management

Lega Serie A has entered into a partnership with Fastbreak AI, an artificial intelligence-based platform for the management of sporting competitions, "to manage match scheduling, meet the sporting needs of the clubs and optimise the league's competitive balance," the body announced on 4 June 2026.

The platform will provide Lega Serie A with its Fastbreak Pro Schedule solution to help the league draw its seasonal match calendar, "taking into account hundreds of parameters and operational constraints, including the sporting needs of the clubs, unavailability windows, recovery periods, venue availability and broadcaster requirements, in order to generate an efficient and balanced schedule."
