LFP: OGC Nice (Ligue 1) and AS Nancy-Lorraine (Ligue 2) have the best pitches in 2025-26

OGC Nice (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and AS Nancy-Lorraine (Ligue 2 BKT) are the winners of the 13^th edition of the Championnat des pelouses BKT (BKT Pitch Championship), announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) on 4 June 2026.

In Ligue 1, the Nice club, which played their home matches at the Allianz Riviera, was first with an average score of 18.42 (out of 20), ahead of FC Metz (2^nd, 18.22) and FC Nantes (3^rd, 18.19).

In Ligue 2, AS Nancy-Lorraine had an average score of 19.11. US Boulogne CO came in second (18.49), while AS Saint-Étienne, in third (18.44), complete the podium.

Only one top-flight club has an average below 17: Le Havre AC (16.82).

"In the top flight, the overall average score has never been higher since the creation of the Championnat des pelouses (17.82), while no club recorded an overall average score below 16/20, another first," the LFP said.
