2026 World Cup: K. Mbappé, C. Ronaldo, L. James and K. Kardashian star in Nike brand film

Nike unveiled its "Rip The Script" brand film dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, on 4 June 2026.

This six-minute short film features several football players including Cristiano Ronaldo (POR), Vinicius Jr (BRE), Kylian Mbappé (FRA), Erling Haaland (NOR) and Federico Valverde (URU). Zlatan Ibrahimović (SUE), Eric Cantona (FRA), Ronaldinho (BRE), Didier Drogba (CIV) and LeBron James (basketball, USA) also star in the film, with appearances by a number of celebrities, including artists Central Cee (UK) and Travis Scott (USA), American actor Channing Tatum and businesswoman Kim Kardashian.

"Set inside a Hollywood mega‑studio, "Rip the Script" sees Nike’s biggest footballers of the past and present go off script and show they know best, unleashing chaos in a freewheeling celebration of intuitive play. Each player acts on instinct as the action unfolds," Nike explained, adding that "Rip the Script" is "a rallying cry for young players everywhere to ditch the playbook and embrace attacking, creative, instinctive and joyful football."
