FFF: record €348m provisional budget for 2026-27 approved

"I have seen here and there allegations and concerns about the Federation being weakened. None of it is true. I am pleased that, through the presentation of the provisional budget, we can clearly state that the Federation has a record budget for the 2026-27 season," Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation (FFF), declared during his closing speech at the FFF summer general assembly held in Ajaccio (Corsica) on 6 June 2026.

"The general assembly approved the FFF’s 2026-27 budget with 84.66% of the vote. Previously validated by the executive committee, it amounts to €348m, exceeding €300m for the first time in the Federation’s history," the FFF said. "Up by nearly €40m (+12%), the 2026-27 provisional accounts are based on almost €350m in revenue and, moreover, on the prudent assumption that France reaches only the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup. This growth is notably driven by multi-year partnerships, which will reach €161m in 2026-27. The Federation’s financial health is therefore built over the long term and is not solely linked to sporting results."
