Belgium/RBFA: Pascale Van Damme re-elected president until 2030

Pascale Van Damme has been re-elected president of the Royal Belgian Football Association for a further four years, until 2030, at the general assembly held on 6 June 2026. She was the sole candidate in the election organised by the Belgian Football Association’s board of directors, which had unanimously nominated her.

A member of the board since 5 June 2021, Pascale Van Damme became the first woman to serve as RBFA president in the organisation’s 128-year history when she was elected on 22 May 2023, three days after the resignation of Paul Van den Bulck. She was subsequently reappointed for a two-year term on 28 June 2024.

"This reappointment reflects a commitment to continuity and the continued implementation of the ‘Strategic Plan 2030’, focused on sporting success, strong governance, innovation, talent development and sustainable growth across Belgian football," the Belgian federation said regarding Van Damme, who also sits on the FIFA Council.
