Roland-Garros 2026: streaming audiences (viewers, views, hours watched) up on HBO Max in Europe

The 2026 edition of the Roland-Garros Grand Slam tournament recorded a 5% increase in unique viewers compared with 2025 on the HBO Max streaming platform in Europe (excluding France), Warner Bros. Discovery announced on 9 June 2026.

The number of video views rose by 34%, while total hours watched on HBO Max increased by 20% during the tournament, the company said. "Italy recorded triple-digit growth in tournament viewers on HBO Max, while Poland saw its streaming audience increase by 81% year-on-year."

Audiences were also up across Eurosport TV channels in several European markets. In Germany, the pay-TV channel Eurosport 1 recorded its "best day ever" with a 6.9% daily audience share for the men’s final, won by Germany’s Alexander Zverev against Italy’s Flavio Cobolli (6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1). The 2026 edition of the tournament was "the most watched tournament ever for Eurosport Germany, with viewership up 49% compared with 2025."
