21^st Century Fox: CEO Rupert Murdoch will entrust his responsibilities to his sons Lachlan and James

"The matter of succession (to Rupert Murdoch, the CEO of the group) is on the agenda at our upcoming, regularly scheduled board meeting," stated the US media conglomerate 21^st Century Fox on the American channel CNBC on 11/06/2015. The next 21^st Century Fox executive committee is to be held in the first days of the week from 15 to 19/06/2015.

It is speculated that Rupert Murdoch, 84 years old, will entrust his duties to his two sons, Lachlan and James Murdoch. Lachlan Murdoch, 43 years old, will become an executive co-chairman of 21^st Century Fox, alongside his father, while retaining his position as non-executive co-chairman of News Corporation media group. James Murdoch, 42 years old and the former CEO of the British pay-TV group Sky, will become the CEO of 21^st Century Fox.
