Ligue 1 McDonald’s: an average of 27,588 spectators per game (-1.3%) & an 87.4% fill rate in 2025-26

The 18 Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted an average of 27,588 spectators per game during the 2025-26 season, down 1.3% on the 2024-25 season (27,948 spectators).

The French top flight welcomed a total of 8.39 million spectators, compared with 8.55 million during the 2024-25 season. Ligue 1 remains bottom of the European Top 5 in terms of average attendance, behind Serie A Enilive (an average of 30,156 spectators per match).

With 62,612 spectators per game at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity), Olympique de Marseille remains the French club with the highest attendance in Ligue 1 in 2025-26, ahead of Olympique Lyonnais (49,848) and Paris Saint-Germain (47,848). OM rank 7^th (out of 96 clubs) among the clubs participating in the European Top 5. OL are 23^rd and PSG 25^th.

The Marseille club, which plays in the stadium with the largest capacity in the French league, had an average stadium fill rate of 94%, the 5^th best among the 18 clubs in the competition. The podium is occupied by Paris SG (99%), RC Lens (98%) and RC Strasbourg Alsace (96%).
