Africa: Sportfive extends as the media and marketing agency to the African Confederation (2017-2028)

Sportfive, the sports marketing agency of Lagardère Unlimited Group, renewed its partnership with CAF for the exclusive management of media rights and marketing for major competitions organised by the African Confederation for the 2017-2028 period, announced the confederation on 12/06/2015.

The agency has been related to CAF since 1993. The renewal of the agreement is accompanied by a guaranteed minimum of $1bn (€889m), informed CAF. "It represents a very substantial increase (...) It is also a guarantee for the effective organisation of continental competitions, the most effective protection of the integrity of the players, the game, the competitions and the establishment of important actions in favour of African youth through football," stated the confederation.

  • The African Nations Championship and its preliminary phase
  • CAF Champions League
  • The CAF Confederation Cup
