Qiddiya Investment Company has unveiled plans for the National Tennis Centre in Qiddiya City (Saudi Arabia), a mega-project currently under development 45 kilometres from Riyadh and focused on entertainment, sport and culture, on 15 June 2026.

The venue, presented as "the region’s largest tennis complex," has been designed by architecture firm Populous, which has previously worked on several football stadiums, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Emirates Stadium, Lusail Stadium and Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium. The complex is to be built in accordance with ATP, WTA and ITF standards and is intended "to attract and host some of the world’s most prestigious events."

The National Tennis Centre will include a training centre, green spaces and, at its heart, 30 courts — 28 hard courts and two clay courts — including "two multi-purpose arenas (15,000 seats for centre court and 8,000 seats for court No. 3) with retractable roofs for climate control which can host concerts and major events beyond tennis." The complex will have a total capacity of 33,000 seats.
