DAZN Italy: Andrea Faelli appointed new CEO following Stefano Azzi's departure

Andrea Faelli has been appointed CEO of DAZN Italy from 1 July 2026, the streaming service announced on 17 June 2026.

"Italy represents a strategic and priority market for DAZN, and Andrea Faelli’s leadership will be crucial in the next phase of development. He will work closely with the Italian leadership team to accelerate the company’s growth in the country while also contributing to the overall strengthening of the group," DAZN said.

Andrea Faelli was previously regional director (Italy, France, Belgium, and Greece) for Entain Group, the owner of sports betting operators Eurobet and Bwin, where he also held the position of managing director for both operators in Italy.

Stefano Azzi, who has been CEO of DAZN Italy since March 2022, is therefore stepping down from his role at the platform.
