Premier League: record average attendance of 41,621 spectators/game (+3%) & 98% fill rate in 2025-26

The 20 Premier League clubs recorded an unprecedent average attendance of 41,621 spectators per match during the 2025-26 season, up 3% on 2024-25 (40,385 spectators). The English top flight welcomed a total of 15.7 million spectators, compared with 15.3 million in 2024-25. The Premier League ranked second among the European Top 5 leagues in terms of attendance, behind the Bundesliga (42,285 spectators). This increase was notably driven by Everton FC’s move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium (52,888 capacity) for the 2025-26 season after leaving Goodison Park (39,514 capacity) at the end of 2024-25.

With an average of 73,975 spectators per match at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity), Manchester United FC was the Premier League club that posted the best attendance in 2025-26, ahead of West Ham United FC (62,347 spectators at London Stadium) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (61,004 spectators at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium). The Manchester club ranked third among clubs in the European Top 5 in terms of attendance, behind Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga, 81,365) and FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, 75,000)…
