Ligue 1 / Le Havre AC: CMA CGM (shipping company) acquires naming rights to Stade CMA CGM Océane

French shipping and logistics group CMA CGM has expanded its partnership with Le Havre AC (Ligue 1 McDonald’s) and acquired the naming rights to the Stade Océane, effective immediately, the club announced on 19 June 2026. The 24,122-seat venue will now be known as the Stade CMA CGM Océane.

The agreement marks both the first naming-rights deal in the stadium’s history since its inauguration in 2012 and CMA CGM’s first-ever stadium naming partnership. The Marseille-based company has been a partner of Le Havre AC since the 2021-22 season. Under the existing agreement, the club had the option to sell the stadium’s naming rights, subject to approval by elected officials of Le Havre Seine Métropole (LHSM), the venue’s owner.

While the annual value of the contract has not been disclosed, the metropolitan authority "has chosen to leave all revenues generated by the deal to Le Havre AC in order to support the club’s development," Augustin Boeuf, vice-president of LHSM, told French radio Ici Normandie on 19 June 2026.
