Rugby World Cup 2027: drone show in Sydney (Australia) to mark Coca-Cola’s return as partner

The Coca-Cola Company, an American beverage manufacturer, has become an official partner of the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, which will be held in Australia from 1 October to 13 November 2027, World Rugby announced on 23 June 2026. The partnership was unveiled by the organising committee and Coca-Cola Australia through a drone show staged above Sydney Harbour.

Coca-Cola joins the commercial programme of the 11^th edition of the men’s tournament as the exclusive non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) beverage partner. Its products will be available across food and beverage outlets, "including official bars, fan festivals and hospitality areas in each of the seven Australian host cities."

The US group joins the second tier of the event’s sponsorship hierarchy alongside Liqui Moly (motor oil), behind World Rugby’s global partners Emirates (airline) and Asahi (beer).. With nine official suppliers already on board, including Dove, Macron and Fanatics, Rugby World Cup 2027 currently has a total of 13 commercial partners.
