The San Francisco Bay Area Stadium in Santa Clara (San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA), with a capacity of 68,827 for the 2026 World Cup, is hosting six matches during the tournament (see schedule below), including a Round of 32 fixture on 2 July.

Designed by US architecture firm HNTB and opened in July 2014 at a total construction cost of $1.2bn, the venue is one of the 16 host stadiums selected for the 2026 men’s World Cup co-organised by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The stadium is owned by the City of Santa Clara through the public Santa Clara Stadium Authority. It features 174 suites and 9,000 premium seats, and notably hosted the Super Bowl in 2016 and 2026.

Levi's, a brand of the American clothing manufacturer Levi Strauss & Co, has held the naming rights to Levi’s Stadium since 2013. In 2024, the company extended the agreement for a further 10 years, through to the 2043 NFL season, under a $170m deal covering both the stadium naming rights and the sponsorship of resident NFL franchise the San Francisco 49ers.
