AC Milan: Massimo Calvelli (ex-ATP), RedBird operating partner, appointed CEO

Massimo Calvelli has been appointed CEO of AC Milan (Serie A Enilive), the club announced on 26 June 2026. He will also retain his roles as Operating Partner at RedBird Capital Partners, owner of AC Milan and Toulouse FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's), and CEO International of RedBird Development Group, the American group’s operational arm dedicated to managing and developing its portfolio companies.

"He brings extensive international leadership experience across global sports, with deep expertise in building and scaling world-class sports organisations and commercial platforms. This appointment reflects RedBird’s distinctive model, combining long-term investment ownership with embedded operating expertise to accelerate execution," AC Milan said of the former ATP CEO, who led the men’s professional tennis circuit from January 2020 to June 2025.
