The Toronto Stadium (Canada), with a capacity of 43,036 for the 2026 World Cup, is hosting six matches during the tournament (see schedule below), including a Round of 32 on 2 July.

Opened in 2007 at a construction cost of $63m, the venue underwent major renovations between 2014 and 2016. It is one of the 16 host stadiums selected for the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The stadium is owned by the City of Toronto and features 57 suites and 1,000 premium seats. It is operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), the Canadian sports and entertainment group that owns the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), the Toronto Raptors (NBA), as well as Toronto FC (MLS) and the Toronto Argonauts (Canadian football).

The latter two franchises are the venue’s resident teams. The stadium has been known as BMO Field since its opening under a naming agreement between the City of Toronto and the Bank of Montreal (also known as “BMO”).
