United States - Bosnia and Herzegovina (2-0), Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup, drew an average of 36.2 million viewers across the Fox group’s channels (26.4 million, in English) and Telemundo (9.8 million, in Spanish) in the United States on Wednesday 1 July 2026 (kick-off at 17:00 local time), according to data from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics.

A peak of 34.8 million viewers was also recorded on Fox’s channels, according to the US broadcaster, which added that this is the most-watched soccer telecast in English language history in the United States.

The United States will face Belgium in the Round of 16 on Monday 6 July 2026 (kick-off at 2:00 CET on Tuesday 7 July).

  • Fox has acquired the full English-language TV rights to the 2026 World Cup on 12 February 2015. The deal is worth $480m, according to the American press.
  • The Telemundo group (NBCUniversal) has obtained the Spanish-language media rights to the competition.
