2026 World Cup / USA: record viewing figures in English language for USA - Bosnia and Herzegovina

United States - Bosnia and Herzegovina (2-0), Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup, drew an average of 33.53 million viewers across the Fox group’s channels (24.43 million, in English) and Telemundo (9.1 million, in Spanish) in the United States on Wednesday 1 July 2026 (kick-off at 17:00 local time), according to data from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics.

A peak of 31.88 million viewers was also recorded on Fox’s channels, according to the US broadcaster, which added that this is the most-watched soccer telecast in English language history in the United States. Fox also noted that the figures released are "preliminary data" and may therefore change in the coming days.

The United States will face Belgium in the Round of 16 on Monday 6 July 2026 (kick-off at 2:00 CET on Tuesday 7 July).
