FIFA / 2026 World Cup: prize money for the 48 qualified national teams ($50m for Spain)

Spain (Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol), after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final of the 2026 World Cup, will receive $50m (€43.6m) from FIFA, the competition organiser. Argentina (Asociación del Fútbol Argentino), the runners-up, will receive $33m (€28.8m).

FIFA has allocated a total of $871m (€760m) to the 48 member associations whose men’s national teams took part in the 2026 World Cup, including $655m in prize money, an increase of 50% compared with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (32 teams, compared with 48 in 2026).
