Newcastle United: supporters to vote on proposed evolution of club crest first introduced in 1988

Newcastle United FC (Premier League) will launch a consultation with their supporters in August 2026 on plans to evolve the club crest that has been in use since 1988, the club announced on 20 July 2026.

Season ticket holders for the men’s and women’s teams, as well as members of the club’s loyalty programmes, will be eligible to take part in the consultation, which "is not about creating a new logo, but evolving the existing one." They will be invited to vote on several proposals put forward by the club, which has been owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) since 1 July 2021.
