Spain: families affected by wildfires housed at RFEF headquarters near Madrid

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol (RFEF) has made its headquarters at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas available to accommodate vulnerable families evacuated from their municipalities due to the severe wildfires affecting the Madrid region and Castile and León, the federation announced on 25 July 2026.

The initiative is being coordinated with the Civil Protection authorities and the municipality of Las Rozas, located northwest of Madrid, close to the border with Castile and León, which is coordinating part of the accommodation for displaced residents.
