The private free-TV group ITV has acquired the exclusive brodcasting rights to the 2027 Rugby World Cup in the United Kingdom, World Rugby announced on 27 July 2026.

ITV, which has been broadcasting the tournament since 1991, will show all the competition’s matches on its channels. "The broadcaster will once again deliver comprehensive and innovative coverage across its television and streaming platforms, ensuring fans can follow every match, every story and every defining moment of the tournament. ITV’s Rugby World Cup coverage in 2023 brought all 48 matches to audiences across the UK, combining world-class analysis, expert punditry and extensive digital content," according to World Rugby.
