"The appointment of Zinedine Zidane as head coach of the France national team is an exceptional moment for the Federation, which has not faced a change of head coach for 14 years. The France team has once again reached the World Cup semi-finals and I want to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Didier Deschamps for his work over the past 14 years.
