FFF: Betclic (betting) acquires naming rights to the new Ligue 3 (3rd division) for 3 seasons (2026-2029)

French sports betting operator Betclic Group (Banijay Gaming) has acquired the naming rights to Ligue 3, the new professional league set to replace National 1 (French 3rd division) from the 2026-27 season, the French Football Federation announced on 30 July 2026. Under this agreement, which covers a three-season period (2026-2029), this new competition will be known as Ligue 3 Betclic.

"With the launch of this new competition, the French Football Federation is pursuing a clear ambition: to support the long-term structuring and development of Ligue 3 Betclic clubs. By becoming title partner of Ligue 3 Betclic, Betclic is aligning itself with that ambition while naturally extending its commitment alongside the FFF," the federation said.
