FIFA: apologies to Council and member associations, leadership reaffirms support for Infantino

"The meeting provided an opportunity to acknowledge that mistakes had been made in relation to the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) proposal. It was agreed that there had never been any intention to exclude the FIFA Council or the member associations from the process, and that the matter should have been handled differently. It was also acknowledged that mistakes were made following the proposal’s disclosure in the media.
