Premier League: DAZN extends media rights in Spain and Portugal until 2031

DAZN has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier League in Spain and Portugal for an additional three seasons, over the 2028-2031 period, the OTT platform announced on 5 August 2026. The agreement also includes the Emirates FA Cup.

DAZN holds the English top-flight media rights in Spain since 2019 and in Portugal since 2023, following its acquisition of pay-TV group Eleven, which owned the Premier League rights in Portugal for the 2022-2025 cycle. The platform had already renewed its Premier League rights in both territories for the 2025-2028 cycle on 6 August 2024.

In Spain, the streaming service also holds the domestic rights to LALIGA EA Sports until 2032 (five exclusive matches per matchday), as well as the media rights to Serie A Enilive (full and exclusive until…
