2027 Australian Open: Haier title sponsor of the 1 Point Slam tournament held during qualifying rounds

Haier, a brand belonging to the Chinese manufacturer Haier Smart Home Group specialisied in home appliances and televisions, has extended its partnership with the Australian Open Tennis Championships (Grand Slam) by becoming title sponsor of the 2027 edition of the "AO 1 Point Slam powered by Haier," the tournament organiser announced on 5 August 2026.

First launched during the qualifying week of the 2026 Australian Open (AO Opening Week) under the name "Million Dollar 1 Point Slam", the event brings together 48 participants, including 24 professional players and 24 celebrities or amateur players, at the Rod Laver Arena (capacity 14,820) in Melbourne Park (AUS).
