Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) announced the extension of the contract of Fernando Carro (ESP), CEO of the German club, until 30 June 2029, as well as that of Simon Rolfes (GER), managing director in charge of sporting affairs, until 30 June 2031, on 8 August 2026.

Fernando Carro, who is also a member of the EFC board, has held the position of CEO at Bayer 04 Leverkusen since July 2018. Simon Rolfes, a former player for the club, was appointed sporting director in 2018 before being promoted to managing director sport in 2022.
