Paris Saint-Germain: opening of an academy in Montevideo, the club’s first in Uruguay, in December 2026

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) will open an academy in Montevideo, its first in Uruguay, in December 2026, the club announced on 10 August 2026.

The project will kick off with an inaugural official camp welcoming up to 600 girls and boys aged 4 to 18 from 14 to 18 December 2026, ahead of the launch of the year-round programme for 300 young players of all levels in February 2027. Uruguay thus becomes the 25^th country to join the Parisian club’s global academy network.
