2026-27 LALIGA EA Sports: all you need to know regarding broadcasting in Spain & internationally

Deportivo Alavés - Getafe CF, the first match of the 2026-27 LALIGA EA Sports season, will be broadcast in Spain on the pay-TV channel DAZN LALIGA on Saturday 15 August 2026 (kick-off at 19:30 CET). The other games on Matchday 1 will be broadcast on the pay-TV channels of Movistar Plus+ (Telefonica group) or the OTT platform DAZN.

This is the final year of LALIGA's current domestic rights cycle (2022-2027). Movistar and DAZN each broadcast five LALIGA EA Sports games per matchday, on 35 of the 38 matchdays (the two broadacasters alternate between match choices 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 2, 4, 6, 8, 10). The three remaining matchdays are broadcast exclusively on Movistar. These rights were acquired for €4.95bn (€990m per season on average) on 13 December 2021.
