Sponsorship: after PSG and Bayern, Google (via Gemini, Pixel) becomes a global partner of FC Barcelona

The American technology services company Google has become an official partner of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) from the 2026-27 season onwards, the club announced on 11 August 2026. The agreement also covers the women's team (Liga F Moeve).

This announcement follows agreements signed ahead of the start of the 2026-27 season with Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald’s) and FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga). As with these two partnerships, Google will activate two of its brands through its agreement with the Catalan club: the Gemini AI assistant and its Pixel smartphone range.

Google Gemini will enable Barça fans to access match analysis, as well as generative AI-based experiences (chant creation, immersive experiences). The Pixel range, meanwhile, will enable the club to create and share exclusive digital content showcasing behind-the-scenes access to the men's and women's teams. Customisation options featuring Barça branding will also be available to Google Pixel smartphone owners.
