NBA: Capital One (finance) extends naming rights agreement for the Washington Wizards arena until 2046-47

Capital One, a US financial services group, has extended its naming rights agreement for the Capital One Arena in Washington DC (United States), where teams including the Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Capitals (NHL) play their home games, for a further 20 seasons (2027-2047), Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), owner of both franchises and operator of the arena, announced on 11 August 2026.

In addition to the Wizards and Capitals, the Capital One Arena hosts Georgetown men’s basketball as well as some Washington Mystics (WNBA) games, alongside concerts and other entertainment events.
