FC Bayern Munich - VfB Stuttgart, the first match of the 2026-27 Bundesliga season, is scheduled for Friday 28 August 2026 (kick-off at 20:30 CET) and will be broadcast in Germany on the free-TV channel SAT.1, belonging to the free and pay-TV group ProSiebenSat.1, as well as on the channels of the pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland. The remaining eight games on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026 will be broadcast on the OTT platform DAZN and Sky Deutschland.

DAZN, Sky Deutschland and ProSiebenSat.1 hold the Bundesliga TV rights for the 2025-2029 cycle for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and the Italian province of South Tyrol. The annual value of these rights is €1.121bn, up 2% on 2021-2025 (€1.1bn per year), for a total of €4.484bn over four years.
