Spain: the 2027 Super Cup to be held at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium (Istanbul, TUR) from 2 to 7 February

The 2027 Spanish Super Cup will take place at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul (TUR) from 2 to 7 February 2027, the RFEF announced on 13 August 2026. The Spanish Football Federation stated that it had received "seven bids from around the world" to host the three matches in the competition (semi-finals and final).

Under an agreement between the RFEF and the Saudi authorities, announced in November 2019 and subsequently extended in June 2021, the Spanish Super Cup is normally held each year in Saudi Arabia. Since the 2019-20 season, only the 2021 edition could not take place there due to restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic (the matches were held in Spain).
