Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the American owner of Liverpool FC (Premier League), "has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of a minority equity stake in the club to 1892 Holdings, a consortium led and managed by Amit Bhatia that brings together investors including Bhatia himself, funds affiliated with the Mittal family, K5 Sports (a fund of K5 Global), whose principal investor is Jeff Bezos (Amazon founder), as well as EE Capital, the family office of Elaine and Eduardo Saverin (Facebook co-founder)," the English club announced on 14 August 2026.
