The Deutscher Fussball Bund has unveiled a new brand identity and logos across its three German cups (DFB-Pokal) — men’s, women’s and youth competitions — with the aim of "establishing a stronger presence in the digital space of young supporters," the DFB announced on 13 August 2026.

This new visual identity, designed in collaboration with agency Strichpunkt, aims to make digital content more expressive. "Instead of sticking with the DFB green used in stadiums, we opted for purple, which will stand out more on social media," the body said.

The DFB-Pokal’s "iconic green" has nevertheless been retained as it features on the three rebranded, now unified competition logos, as well as on the branding of boards, displays and LED installations in stadiums.
