Chelsea FC: Alex Smith (ex-TEAM Marketing) appointed director of partnerships

Alex Smith has joined Chelsea FC (Premier League) as director of partnerships, he announced on LinkedIn on 18 August 2026.

He succeeds Daniel McEwan, who held the position from January 2025 to March 2026 before joining Cadillac Formula 1 Team as vice president, partnerships management.

Having previously worked at Arsenal FC (Premier League), Alex Smith had been with the Swiss agency TEAM Marketing since October 2015, where he oversaw marketing partnerships and had been leading the UK team since January 2023.
