The Italian rail operator Trenitalia has become an official partner of Serie BKT for three seasons, covering the 2026-2029 cycle, the Lega Serie B announced on 17 August 2026.

Under this agreement, the Intercity long-distance train service will serve as the "official train" of Serie BKT and ranks second in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Italian second division, alongside four other brands (including Italian kit manufacturer Kappa, its official match ball supplier).

"Travel is a natural part of the sporting experience, and this partnership allows us to further strengthen the connection between our league, our cities and our fans, while also showcasing the richness and beauty that our country has to offer," Paolo Bedin, president of Lega Serie B, said.
