Dynamo Moscow have been excluded from participating in any European competitions for which the club would qualify for in the next four seasons, or through the 2018-19 season, announced UEFA on 19/06/2015. The Russian club has been unable to reach a settlement agreement with the Adjudicatory Chamber of the CFCB regarding its failure to comply the break-even requirement of UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.

"I can't say that the UEFA decision came as a big surprise for us," stated Boris Rotenberg, the president of Dynamo Moscow, on 19/06/2015. "We're sure that, under the terms of a necessary cut to the wage bill, Dynamo will still be able to fight for top places. I don't doubt that next summer we'll be back competing in Europe (after a presumed new FFP review of the club in the future)."

Dynamo Moscow, 4th place in the 2014-15 Russian Premier League, is expected to be replaced in the third qualifying round for the 2015-16 Europa League by FK Rubin Kazan, the 5th place finisher in Russia. UEFA did not confirm Rubin Kazan's entry into the competition on 19/06/2015.
