UK: BBC acquires free-to-air broadcasting rights to one Serie A Enilive match per matchday in 2026-27

The BBC has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights, in the UK, to one Serie A Enilive match per matchday in the 2026-27 season (38 matches in total), as part of a sublicensing agreement with British OTT platform DAZN, the public broadcaster announced on 19 August 2026.

In detail, BBC Alba will broadcast 19 matches live with Scottish Gaelic and English commentary, while BBC Sport will stream a further 19 matches on its BBC iPlayer platform, with English commentary. The matches broadcast will mainly involve teams featuring English and Scottish players.

The BBC had already acquired, in February 2026 and through a sublicense from DAZN, the broadcasting rights to eight Serie A Enilive matches in 2025-26, for its BBC Alba channel.
