Olympique de Marseille: Alessandro Antonello leaves the club after serving as CEO since July 2025

Alessandro Antonello is stepping down as CEO of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's), the club announced on 20 August 2026.

The Italian joined the Marseille club in early July 2025, during Pablo Longoria’s tenure as chairman. The Spaniard ultimately left the club on 23 March 2026 and was replaced by Stéphane Richard on 2 July 2026.

Antonello joined OM from FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive), where he had spent almost 10 years, serving as chief financial officier, COO and then corporate CEO.

At OM, he was responsible for the club’s overall business development, including increasing and diversifying revenues, managing Stade Vélodrome, driving digital transformation and growing the brand internationally.
