Shakhtar Donetsk: Ukrainian club to host European home matches at Stamford Bridge in 2026-27

Shakhtar Donetsk, winners of the 2025-26 Ukrainian championship and therefore qualified for the league phase of the 2026-27 Champions League, will play their European home matches in London at Chelsea FC’s (Premier League) Stamford Bridge (40,343 capacity), the two clubs announced on 21 August 2026.

The agreement comes after the English club finished 10th in the Premier League in 2025-26 and failed to qualify for any European competition in 2026-27. Matchday operations and ticketing will be managed by Chelsea, who are offering a four-game bundle for Shakhtar’s matches priced at £185 (€216) to their season ticket holders, members and Ukrainian supporters.
