Borussia Dortmund - FC Bayern Munich (1-2), the 2026 Franz Beckenbauer Supercup fixture, drew an average of 3.16 million viewers in the first half and 3.62 million in the second half on ProSiebenSat.1’s free-to-air channel SAT.1 on Saturday 22 August 2026 (kick-off at 20:30 CET), according to data from audience measurement institute AGF.

This represented an audience share of 15.6% during the first half and 18.6% in the second half. The game was also broadcast on pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland’s channels.

Audiences were up compared with the 2025 edition, as VfB Stuttgart - Bayern Munich (1-2) drew nearly 3 million viewers in the first half and 3.22 million in the second half on 16 August 2025 (20:30 CET).
